Sunset at Harssensbosch II, Groningen, NL Open

Description:

Het Reitdiepgebied is het oudste cultuurlandschap van Europa. Midden in het gebied, tussen de uitgestrekte weilanden, ligt het borgterrein Harssensbosch. Vroeger was dit een klein gehuchtje met zelfs een kerkje en kerkhof. Nu zijn alleen nog de sporen in het landschap te zien. In 2008 heeft Het Groninger Landschap hier een oud keuterijtje (boerderijtje) herbouwd in de sfeer van 1900 met de materialen van het oude boerderijtje. Cool place on a tropical day

Cool place on a tropical day Open

Description:

The day this picture was taken was literally the hottest day in The Netherlands this summer with temperatures well over 30 degrees. The coolest place was in the far north of the country at the Wadden See coast. Hoping for both a nice photography chance and a proper cool down, my girlfriend and I went to this coolest place: Moddergat.Light was not spectacular, but the cooling down was successful and very pleasant (a nice 21 degrees in the evening!).
