The water of Lake Louise has an emerald colour which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by melt-water from the glaciers that overlook the lake.
The view from above can be reached by a nice, not too strenuous hike. Do mind the weather though, on the way back we really got soaked in a heavy thunderstorm.
Not really knowing what to expect from today's sunset I went to this well-known location at the Paterswoldsemeer near Groningen. And just when I thought colours would not really be showing off today the sky was set on fire for just a few minutes.Actually, only a few minutes later the lake was fully coverd in mist, as visible on some other photos in the gallery.
