The world famous US Capitol is located atop Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall. The Capitol was designed by architect Dr. William Thornton.
The day this picture was taken was literally the hottest day in The Netherlands this summer with temperatures well over 30 degrees. The coolest place was in the far north of the country at the Wadden See coast. Hoping for both a nice photography chance and a proper cool down, my girlfriend and I went to this coolest place: Moddergat.Light was not spectacular, but the cooling down was successful and very pleasant (a nice 21 degrees in the evening!).
