The water of Lake Louise has an emerald colour which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by melt-water from the glaciers that overlook the lake.
The view from above can be reached by a nice, not too strenuous hike. Do mind the weather though, on the way back we really got soaked in a heavy thunderstorm.
After all the mist, it was a beautiful sunny morning. So went back to the same location as last Wednesday. How different can locations get under influence of weather conditions...
